Looking For Pattern Name
I have tried to find MY set of "Old Abbey" Limoges but it seems there must be quite a few patterns with this same title. I would love to know the specific title of mine.
The pattern is a gold and royal blue decorative band with regularly places "shields" with roses in them every 2" or so. The serving pieces have gold handles. I have a large set of this china and on the back in green it has "Old Abbey" with swords in green. It also says "Made in France" and "For the JL Hudson C" DETROIT. It has an indistinguishable stamp (seal) above all of this in a dark sage green color with writing above and below that I can't make out at all. The words are written around a design that is eye shaped, again I can't make it out. Thank you for your help!
